Daughter has been practising walking since about 11 months - would stand up and take a few tentative steps before falling. By her birthday she was crawling everywhere on hands and feet (rather than knees) and whenever she got to her ‘destination’ would stand up. By 12.5 months she was practising walking by herself by just setting off and seeing how far she could get without falling (usually 6-10 steps). Now at 13 months tomorrow she spent the whole day walking. She fell occasionally but instead of then choosing to crawl like usual she got back up and walked.

I’m so proud but also sad! Where’s my little baby gone?! 😭
