Doppler-how soon did you hear your baby HB?

How soon did you hear your baby HB on the Doppler? I have a tilted uterus as well and I know that can delay it some.

My doctor fluked a heartbeat at 8w after feeling around for AGES, but generally the uterus is too low to catch anything. I believe it starts to lift from 10w
From what I’ve heard you will more consistently get a good reading at 14w, but you can get readings earlier if you’re lucky.
Early on you’re looking for a very small area, searching around and avoiding interference from your own blood vessels and baby’s placenta, so try not to worry if your doc/midwife struggles to find it early on. 
In the first trimester, ultrasound and your symptoms will be your clearest indicators of pregnancy - and often it’ll feel like nothing is happening. This part doesn’t last too long thankfully :-)

My doctor couldn't find it on 2 different dopplers. She tried for like 10 minutes, she tried high, she tried low, nada, she took me go ultrasound instead and we saw baby and the heartbeat immediately, which was nice as I wasn't supposed to get a scan that visit 🤷🏻‍♀️. She said next appointment at 16 weeks we shouldn't have a problem at all.

At the doctors, I was 9 weeks and he just did an ultrasound real quick to find it and was able to see it flickering on an abdominal ultrasound. I have an at home Doppler and was able to find it from 11 weeks on.

I have a anterior tilted uterus and my doctor found it right away at 9 weeks. I didn’t try to find it myself until about 16 weeks. found it with no issue.

I brought a home doppler when I was 14 weeks didnt arrive until I was 15 weeks and tbh i think its all down to where baby is sometimes its easy to find the heart beat others u gotta do some digging to find it im 16 weeks friday and always fidn babys heart beat on my right side baby favors that side apparently
