Will the hospital admit me if I’m not having contractions but am dilated to a 4?

I feel miserable and tired and flu like almost.
. I am at a 4 or more. I was a 3, but have been feeling a ripping sensation associated with dilation in previous pregnancies. 
I am very tired like I said, and feel sick. I want this to be over. I don’t think they’ll admit me though unless I’m contracting?

Where I live, no. You have to be contracting or your water has broken. And where I live, they'll sometimes even turn you away when you're contracting regularly if you aren't dilated to a 6 yet.

Doubt it. I was 4cm dialated for a week before I was finally induced!

I walked around for a month dilated to 3/4. Unless you’re in active labor they won’t admit you. It could be days until you actually go into labor

Nope, your water has to be broken, or be at 6 or 7 for them to consider admitting you without broken water
