How much time is too much
Ok. So I've had several talks with several people and I'd like to get an outside opinion.
Scenario...
One of you is the stay at home parent.
The working spouse wakes up for work at 5:00 a.m and works until 3:30 pm. Calls the stay at home parent at 1230 (lunch) to check on kids etc.
As soon as the working spouse gets home, the stay at home parent leaves for 2 or so hours to get a break.
Meanwhile, the working parent cooks dinner and gets chores done that werent done throughout the day. Slightly pissed because it should have been done.
The working parent, wants to sit with the other parent for a couple of hours to talk or watch movies or whatever until they go to bed at around 8 p.m. just to spend some time together.
When the working parent asks, suggests or wants that, the non working parent states that they're being "crowded" and spend too much time together as it is.
Is 2 hours too much time? How much time do you spend with your spouses...with kids or even alone? I'm trying to get a round about number.
No phone calls (except the 1) are made throughout the day.
