Jump ropeing

I used to run about 20 minutes almost every day. I decided to switch it up and do jump rope about the same timing 20-25 minutes started to see a difference when I started jump roping I sweated in places I never thought the next day I was sored in places I never even worked out in. I would be jumping and 10 minutes pass I could feel my sweat dripping on my face my lower back my stomach was sore my legs my arms almost everything. It’s definitely a Huge difference compared to running and I like it something different just wanted to share my experience. Has anyone else lost weight doing jump rope? I just started
