Is my baby the only one? 😔

Question

Not rolling, not almost crawling, standing or sitting. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. He just loves lying on his back and still despises tummy time. I feel like we are so far behind. He will be six months old so soon.

Mine little guy cant sit either unless it's in his chair play thing. I'm so nervous about his back. But hes good at tummy time and can roll now well. Also have seen his trying to crawl alot. Hes almost there. But since he cant sit up very well on his own yet or even assisted we havent started giving him baby food yet. Not until his neck is stronger. But ya he is 6 months too and everybody keeps looking at me weird when I say I havent started giving him baby food yet. I'm like hes not ready yet.

I am at the same place! My baby is rolling from his back to stomach but he will not roll back. He just sits there and cries. I talked to my doctor and she said he is fine. That he will figure it out. He turns 6 months on the 10th of this month.... So I guess he’s fine.

My son was the same way! Dont feel discouraged. My son is now 1 1/2 he didnt learn to crawl til almost 10/11 months. Roll over was only occasional. Am he didnt start sitting up til he was 8 months. Finally started walking 2 months after his 1st birthday. Some babies like to take there time
My daughtwr is gonna be 6 months soon. She can roll, hold her head up. But she cant figure out the sitting up part. She has tummy issues to it gets uncomfortable for her to be in sitting position. But imma let her go at her own pace. Dont beat yourself up about it. Your doing good. Your baby is just taking there time!

Don't feel bad. Your baby will get there eventually. I dread these milestones.. I'm not ready to deal with my baby growing up yet.

My daughter is 6 months as well, she does roll but definitely not almost crawling! 
All babies are different! My son I swear crawled before he rolled!

You’re not doing anything wrong, you’re doing great mama!  As the other poster said, every baby is different and you can’t compare.
I’m also a strong believer in getting help early though if you’re worried baby is behind.  I brought up concerns about my baby’s body tone and development at his 4 month appt, so we were evaluated by Early Intervention, and he qualified for services!  So now we’re starting virtual services (took a while to get it going), but he’s actually already gained a bunch of skills since then (he’ll be 6 months on the 21st).  In my opinion, it can’t hurt and it can only help, and it makes me feel much better to have the extra set of eyes on him.

Every baby is different, so don’t compare. Mine just turned 6m this week (developmentally she’s 3wks behind that bc she was born at 37wks). She used to roll both ways but stopped months ago, cannot sit unassisted but a few seconds, and doesn’t mind tummy time... but she hasn’t figured out how to get her knees under her, she’s just content chilling there. She loves walking with our assistance though. Just keep working with your little one and talk to your doctor about any concerns. I have her 6m appt next week and plan on asking about her rolling/stopping it awhile ago.
