What age did y’all start on purées ? My doctor told me anytime between 4-6 months would be fine .

Baby should meet ALL signs of readiness but you should also consider how ready their gut is. Baby's gut takes a long time to develop and mature enough to handle and process foods. Just because they are showing outwards signs doesnt mean they are ready on the inside. Doing so can lead to lifelong issues. Formula or breastmilk alone are enough for babe for a lot longer than 4-6months. 
I didnt start my son until 8months. We did purees and BLW. In any case, go with your gut and do your own research 💙

Once your doctor gives you the ok you can decide. My first we started at 6 months. My second we tried at 6 months but she didn’t want solids. So we tried again at 7 months and she was happy to have solids

We just started a week after he turned 4 months with purees. We'll do BLW at 6mo (but probably still some purees for convenience)
We're doing fruits and vegetables now but we'll add in eggs and meat pureed soon too. Basically anything pureed! Baby needs flavor!
