How long did you breastfeed?

I'm at almost 4 months. I want to do it for at least a year.

When I was pregnant, everyone asked me if I was going to breastfeed. I always answered yes. Then I had my daughter and I only produced on my left side for some reason. It was never enough to fill her up and eventually I had to stop after 2 months. Moral of the story, you can plan all you want but your body is the boss. Hahaha

I stopped a little after 3 months. My son wasn’t gaining even though my milk looked really fatty. He was in the second percentile at 3 months and it was terrifying! I was also waking up to pump and trying everything to keep my supply up. It was so stressful. Once I stopped I felt so much better and my son is a very smart 3.5 year old!

I’m currently nursing my 15.5 month old boob addicted daughter and 17.2w pregnant . I’m pretty certain she is gonna fight her brother come November
