Contractions

I’m 36 weeks I’ve been having contractions since Tuesday went in 3 times for them. Went in last night at 3am my contractions were regular and stronger throwing up from extreme heartburn but because I wasn’t dilating I wasn’t in labor. They couldn’t give me a shot because my gestational age but I’ve been having them all day tried napping but they wake me up. I tried Tylenol and warm bath what can I do to help I just want to be able to sleep tonight or move things along myself.
