Hospital policies as US opening back up?

I’m curious what your hospitals policies are for delivery? For me in pa it’s one support person and that person has to stay your only support person the whole time. I’m planning on having my husband but I really want a doula too and I’m praying I’ll be allowed to have both by August. But who knows.. 
We have to wear masks whenever there’s a doctor or nurse in the room and while pushing. No support people at doctors appointments or anything. Are any restrictions being lifted where you are delivering? Or are things staying pretty strict even as the states open up?

Pretty much the same in MD except I don’t have to wear a mask while delivering.  They said I will have to wear it while recovering but not during active labor and delivery.

Same in ca. My doctor doesnt expect any changes by mid august. My so wont even be able to leave the room to go to the lobby if he wanted

Every place is different. I’m in a rural city in central Florida. They allow one person for labor and delivery as of now, and they don’t have to stay they can come and go but it has to be the same person. Two weeks ago they opened it up for one person for every hospital patient- not just labor and delivery and those on their death beds. I forgot to ask about the mask situation. I know they’re required when walking the hospital but I’m trying really hard not to contemplate the situation in my own hospital room. Masks make me very claustrophobic and I have been having trouble just around town wearing them, I feel like I’m suffocating.

I am in New Orleans. For delivery I can have my husband and doula if I want. I don’t have to wear mask nor does my husband but they will test for covid 19. For appointments just me and wear mask at appointments.

As of right now it’s still only 1 support person who can’t leave. Have to wear a mask during the delivery. Have to wear a mask whenever someone comes in the room. Have to be tested for virus 3 days before C-section and if positive can’t have any contact with the baby.

I called my hospital as of yesterday to see what their visitation policy is and it’s only one support person and will have to be that person the whole time which I’m completely okay with that as long as my child father can be present I feel a lot better not having to do it alone 💕

Ohio here... But it’s different by hospital here too. One support person only. I’ll be tested the second I walk in the door. Negative = no mask. Positive = mask the whole time and they take baby immediately. If I’m positive and have to have a c section, dad doesn’t get to come.

Just read my hospital is allowing doulas and one support person as of June 3rd (so now)! I was so hoping for that. I hope your hospital will do that soon!

I’m in Indiana, I have a friend whose due to deliver anyday so I asked her what she’s heard since we’re using the same hospital. Last she heard was you can have 1 support person during labor and delivery but you can have more visitors post partum... which actually kinda shocked me lol. I don’t know about masks and testing though.
