Newborn and needles

Can you get your baby’s first needles when they’re a day before 6 weeks?? With my due date i noticed bubs will be 5 weeks and 6 days on christmas but we celebrate on boxing day so i wasn’t sure if i can get bubs needles a day before so we can see family. If i can’t then obviously we will just have christmas via video chat but would love to celebrate with everyone if possible. Our restrictions are getting better so obviously christmas with family is only happening if things stay the same or open up more
