any other breastfed babies gaining weight slowly?

my son was born at 7.2 and just got back up to his birth weight at 2 weeks old after getting down to 6.8 at 4 days old. he feeds well and pedi not concerned but of course i’m a worrier!

Every baby is different. I think my first took 2 weeks to get back up to birth weight and my 2nd was last her birth weight after 1 week.
Don’t worry! Weight gain is always positive

Mine is. He was 8 lbs 7 oz at birth, they didn’t say what he had dropped to before we left. At 3 days old he was 8 lbs 1 oz and when we went back a week later he was 8 lbs 4 oz. she seemed somewhat concerned because she wanted him to gain at least .5 oz a day. So we go back again next week and hopefully he is at birth weight or higher!

My little one lost 6.7% of his birth weight and at 14 days was 0.7g off birth weight. At 3 weeks he had gotten back to birth weight 6oz on top too. So it sounds like your little one is similiar. You're doing great

That sounds normal, it’s expected for babies to loose weight, that’s why most doctors want babies back at this birth wt. or above at 2 weeks.

Sounds like mine! Breast fed only. Born 7 lb 2 oz, down to 6 lb 10 oz at 4 days. His last dr appt was at 3 wk + 4 days and he was 7 lb 7 oz. baby seems happy and sleeps well at night so doctor wasn’t worried.

If your doctor is happy I’d go with that all babies are different. My first was 9lb 4 at birth only lost 30 grams before going back up to birth weight but gained it slow and steady after.. this baby was 8lb 9 dropped 175g when weighed at day 5 which seemed a lot to me compared to first but by day 12 he was 9lb 3 😳😳 so gains much faster than my first x
