I also live in the most infected city in Canada...but I want to go so badly!

We went in Vancouver because we’ve been so isolated.
However now we are isolating for 14 days just to be safe. I hope people follow that because our numbers are so low in BC.

I would have loved to go show my support at a protest, but didnt because of corona. I live with my elderly grandparents so i didn’t want to risk it for their sakes. It is your risk to take, and if you don’t live with anyone else not going or theyre okay with you going i think it’s okay to take the risk. just be careful. from what i’ve seen most people are wearing masks which prevents/ reduces the spread.

I think people do have the right to peacefully protest, but people do need to be sensible right now, where the virus still poses a high risk. 
It’s hard, and I’m not saying people shouldn’t protest. But maybe there’s other ways you can show your support and make a difference right now.

Bring sanitizer, wear gloves and masks. But obviously you don’t have to go if youre uncomfortable!! I’m canandian as well and we had ours recently. While 6ft apart may not have been possible, I was able to keep some distance. You don’t have to be in the middle of the crowd!! But again, do only what you’re comfortable with :)
