How many times a day do you breastfeed?

How many times a day do you breastfeed your 11-12 month old babies? I want to partially wean my (almost) 11 month old to two feeds a day. Is this safe?!

Just when she is sleeping overnight, but I do give her pumped milk (only ever mursed overnight) multiple times a day. If you dont directly nurse, you will need to pump as baby still needs the breastmilk.

I had to wean my daughter by 13 months as I was going back to work, and I’m a shift worker so wouldn’t be around for any regular feeds. I think by 11 months we were down to 3 feeds, 1 in the morning, 1 during the day, and 1 before bed. I dropped 1 every 2 weeks or so and she was weaned by her 1st birthday. She was having no milk after that as she always refused formula, expressed, or cows milk. Just make sure she had a balanced diet and lots of calcium in her foods
