Out of town family visit after baby

I am asking just to get opinions. My husband and I are going to start trying for a baby this cycle. His family lives about 6 hours away. How long after giving birth do you think is best to wait for out of town family to visit/stay with his? It would be 2-4 people depending who comes.

Note: His family are not "easy" guests. They are very needy and make it so we have to entertain them all day.
