Due date changed??

Has anyone measured 2 weeks and a few days ahead and had there due date changed ?

I’ve always been told they don’t change due dates based on measurements once you’re past the first trimester because the earlier measurements are more accurate to date a pregnancy. Babies grow at all different rates toward the end of pregnancy so measuring ahead in the third trimester means that you just have a bigger baby!

My daughter was measuring at 37wks when I was 31+5 still same due date

With my oldest they moved my due date. My original due date was August 21st based off my first ultrasound but he grew so fast and was huge so they bumped it up to August 4th, they ended up inducing me July 29th and he was 8lbs 13oz almost 22inches. I could only imagine if I would've made me go to my original due date. That would've been miserable. This was almost 11 years ago. With my other babies my due date never changed despite size. My daughter measured at 8lbs at 36weeks. They told me to just prepare for a large baby. She always measured weeks ahead on ultrasound and fundal height. She was only 7lbs 9oz at birth. Ultrasounds can be off by up to 2lbs up or down.

My baby measured 2 weeks ahead at 20 weeks and at 28 weeks and they never changed my due date. I believe at 12 weeks My baby was measuring 4 days ahead and she could have moved me up but didn’t. They moved my first son up 5 days based off the 12 week scan. I really feel like there is no way I’m making it until July 10th.
