Have you flown in the last couple weeks?

My family and I are moving cross country and we have no choice but to fly the weekend of July 4. I have a two year old and am concerned about flying during a pandemic and holiday. Has anyone flown recently? How was it? We’re the planes/airports busy? 
Any advice welcomed.

I flew last weekend. I walked straight through  security, no line at all. We had a full row since they aren’t selling middle seats on jetblue at least, so I brought his car seat so he had a spot to nap. The flight attendant also let us know we could use the row in front of us if we needed to spread out. Masks have to be on the whole time and they weren’t selling cocktails, but it was fine otherwise. Honestly, I’m just getting spoiled with how easy it is. It will be brutal going back to having to sit next to people and wait to get through TSA 🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband and I flew recently. I am 10w pregnant. We didn’t have to fly out of a major airport we went through a regional one so it was smaller. We wore our masks the whole flight and they even handed them out to us as we boarded. Everyone was respectful and the flight was about 3/4 full. Just wipe everything down and wear your mask. The filters in planes are similar to ones in the hospital! They also fully replace the air being circulated every 3 minutes. I never felt scared. Good luck! Have a great trip.

I’m pregnant and I’m flying end of July and end of September and I have no worries. Just wash your hands, don’t touch anything you don’t need to. You’ll be fine!
