Any advice or thoughts?

I’m going into my Jr year of high school (11th) 
I pretty much have 4 friends my age but we no longer go to the same school we text but we can never hangout I want to meet new people but I don’t have social media because my mom doesn’t want me to so there for I don’t really know or can even go to any party’s or hangouts 
I know I should “focus on school” but school is out I should be able to have fun but ..... I don’t know how

Hey! So I was a junior this year and let me tell the truth: personally junior year was the hardest year for me academic wise bc I loaded up on AP classes. However, I would give one piece of advice: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BALANCE!! Make sure to balance school with socializing because if not you will be miserable. I have a lot of friends who don’t go to my school so it’s harder to socialize bc of conflicting schedules, but make sure to stay connected. Also, junior year is a great time to really think abt college!!!! You got it!

The best way to meet new people is join a club. When I started high school I had three friends and two went to the ￼rival high school. I joined a club and made a few friends through it. I also made friends with my lab partner in bio freshman year and we formed a friend group with people from that class. Don’t be afraid to randomly comment something to the kid sitting next to you.
