Lexapro problems

before i start i just want you guys to know that i’m almost 18 and have had my period for about 4 years.

My psychiatrist recently switched me from 50mg zoloft to 20mg lexapro and since i’ve started taking it i’ve had one of the worst periods of my life. I normally have extremely easy periods, like maybe too easy. I bleed for maybe two days, never really enough for a tampon and then it stops. Never really had bad cramps or back pain or anything like that. After i started taking the lexapro my period started right away, that night i had literally unbearable back pain i laid in my bed all night sobbing because it hurt so badly and i didn’t know what to do. the next morning my back still hurt and i’m addition to that i was having some pretty light cramps. that carried on until today. My cramps are horrible and i feel awful... I don’t know if it’s because of my new medication or if my cycle is finally figuring itself out. i just don’t know if it’s worth mentioning to my psychiatrist or not.
