Exercising at 3 months PP

Tr

Hey everyone. So here's a bit of backstory first.

Before pregnancy, I wasn't in the best shape. I am 5'6 and was 190 pounds. I wanted to lose weight, but didn't have the motivation to. I was honestly lazy and Im the type that if I don't see results right away, I give up. I got pregnant and during my entire pregnancy, I gained 20 pounds. I gave birth and ended up with a 2nd degree tear so I had to have stitches. Honestly, dealing with the tear was more painful than labour ffs. Lol anyway, I tried breastfeeding and was doing that for 4 weeks. Lost all my baby weight and was down 10 pounds from my starting weight. I was impressed. I had to stop breastfeeding because my psoriasis came back with a vengeance and now, I'm close to 200.

I literally hate my body. I am so disgusted with it. I waited for my 6 week appt to see how my body was doing, and my doc gave me the okay to have sex...so in my mind I was okay to exercise. I didn't feel right, so I waited a little longer for my body to heal. Now I'm 3 months postpartum and I feel like I can go into it now but I'm so nervous I'm going to cause my body more harm than good atm. I have been easing into it and have been walking with my baby everyday to get out and just recently have been doing trails.

I guess my question is, and I get that everyone is different, when did you start exercising after giving birth and what did you do? Did you Pinterest random workouts or actually came up with a hardcore plan? I'm dying to get rid of this mommy pooch. Any tips?
