9 weeks 2 days, no baby on ultrasound

I went in for an ultrasound Friday, and she said I'm showing as if 5 weeks 4 days. I know my dates are right from my LMP. However, there was no sign of a baby and no heartbeat. I had two seperate days of mild spotting. I'm scheduled to go back on June 19th, but cant help but worry. She told me it's a waiting game to see if my body starts the miscarriage process on it's own. Can anyone tell me what happened with them if you went thru something similar. This would be my 2nd pregnancy.
