Follitism injections?

After the longest wait ever due to covid and a slight delay because my hormones suck 🙃 I get to start my next cycle which will be Follitism injections! We are not doing ivf, but TI and my dosage is 150IU. Does anyone have any advice with these injections? I didn’t ask my nurse, but any specific exercising I should stay away from? Do you drink alcohol while stimming? Tricks for the pain of stabbing yourself in the stomach?

It’s definitely not as bad as you might think. My doc said moderate alcohol is ok before ovulation but not after

Icing the area for a few minutes before helped me! Especially in the last few days of injections when my stomach was sore

I found that I have to eat before I did my follistim injection otherwise I would get a headache. Other then that the injection is easy and just remind yourself that it's a short term prick of pain to help us get to our baby!!!

I definitely wouldn’t drink just because. If you are used to exercising I wouldn’t see why continuing would be a problem. Honestly I was so scared to inject myself but it really wasn’t bad at all. It’s all in your head making it seem worse than it is. Just follow the instructions on the package. Good luck!

I just did put on a tik tok I know corny but it distracted me when I injection myself in the stomach. It does have a little burn after injecting tiny bit. I did develop a bruise I had to do the injections for 5 days. Just breathe when you do it. I also watched a YouTube on how to do it.
