Lotion kills sperm?

I put lotion on and then had intercourse with husband. He got lotion on him . Trying to conceive wondering if lotion kills sperm? Anyone knows???

If you put lotion on your vulva/vagina you are at risk for infections. Lotion should not go near your genitals. Only lubrication marketed for sex should (there are ones special for TTC, like PreSeed) If your husband just got some on himself from say your leg or hands or something, then it’s fine. It would be trace amounts and shouldn’t affect anything.
