Change of due date?

Okay ladies, first baby so I want some clarity! 
Today at my anatomy ultrasound, my little guy measured a week ahead of me in size. My doctor said I’m still 17 weeks and 5 days, but he is the size of 18 weeks and 5 days.
Now instead of November 12th, she’s saying I could deliver around November 5th. But she doesn’t want to change my due date just yet. 
Anyone else have this happen? When did you end up delivering?

Earlier ultrasounds are more accurate for dating.  At 18 weeks, there is more natural variation in size.  Bigger babies don’t necessarily arrive any sooner, so I would keep November 12 in your head!

I’ve been 4 weeks ahead at later ultrasounds and they’ve never changed my due date but I also have 9lb babies... I always just go by the earliest dating they do at the first ultrasound

At this point, I doubt they’d change your due date. I think if they did move it, it’d be much earlier on where there’s little variation.
My first pregnancy, my son measured right on the day at every u/s. Fast forward to 36 weeks, my belly ‘measured small’ so they had me do a u/s and everything looked normal, not too big or small. Then, my son turned out to be 10 lbs 12 oz and he was just a few days past due date! All that to say every baby is different and ultrasounds and measurements can only give an estimate anyway.

At my first visit I was supposedly 10w5d but my baby measured 8w3d and is always atleast 2 days behind in size

My last baby was measuring 5 weeks ahead. They kept my due date because the dating early on is more accurate.

With my first born he was measuring on time with my due date so they kept it at Nov 28th I had him Nov 13th. 
This time they changed it from Nov 15th to Nov 14th but in 2 days we are doing an ultrasound to make sure my due date is 100% my due date.

My first always measured 1-2 weeks ahead and was born a week late. She was just a big baby

Both my 2nd and 3rd babies measured 10 days to 2 weeks ahead. But we were 100% certain of my due date and it never changed. Baby 2 was born 3 days before her due date. Baby 3 needed a c section for placenta previa at 37 weeks.

Yup! My first always measured atleast 3 weeks ahead of my due date after my anatomy scan. They never changed my due date but did have him at 37 weeks (induced for pre-eclampsia) & he was 7lbs 4oz at 37 weeks so he was still ahead and would've been even bigger if I had carried longer. They probably won't change it, but that's just my experience.
