If expectation date is 7/2020.. can I still use all June and July? And throw away 8/1/2029 🤷‍♀️or throw it away in 6/1/2020 or 7/2020? Lol

I’m a pharmacist and we take expiry of July/2020 to mean end of July (July 31st 2020). You’re good to use it until then.

My mom is a pharmacist and always told our family medication is actually good for up to a year after the expiration date 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wouldn’t keep it for too long but I think your fine if you use it for a couple months within the date

Thank you ladies!!!  My 1 year old is teething and she had a really bad days yesterday.. I gave her Motrin and she slept from 7:30-8am .. she seems happier this morning.. we will see🤷‍♀️😊

It’s fine through the end of July. I work in pharma and when we study drugs for expiration they are good for use through the end of the month that is listed.

It should be fine even for a bit after the expiration date. Most meds (except antibiotics!) only really start to not be as effective, nor dangerous.
