Mine sleeps like that all the time now ever since she could roll both ways I put her down on her back she rolls on her side then onto the tummy lol. She even puts her head on her hands sometimes! If they can put themself there they are fine. It freaked me out first time too I get it.

I wouldn’t worry if he can roll. I think that at this age they know that they have to turn their head. But I can understand that it scared you.

I feel you. My baby sleeps with his face down on the mattress. It makes us so nervous. We took the sheet off for now because we have a breathable mattress. But, when it really worries us we tickle the back of his neck. It doesn’t wake him up, just encourages him to face his head to the side.

My baby sleeps exactly like that lol with a hand under and everything. She constantly rolls to tummy to back during sleep. Don’t worry!

My daughter has been sleeping on her stomach for two months now. Once they can roll around like that, not much you can do. If they can put themselves in that position, its totally fine!  I always put her to bed on her back, but she automatically flips. They’ll make themselves comfy and it’s totally fine!

Nope! Perfectly normal. Both my kids figured it out about this age. My oldest loved to be on her belly. My youngest loves to be on his side
