When water is included in rent

So im moving out for the first time. This place im looking at says water is included in the rent. Its 65 a month.
So if my water bill ever goes over 65 dollars do they pay that overage since its included in rent? Or an i going to get charged for however much i go over plus the 65?

Landlords will pay it. You can see what the average cost of water is in that area to see if that’s a good deal or not. I know where I live water for a single person is around $20 a month. My family of 6 uses around 8,000 gallons a month and our bill ranges from $60 - $70 each month.

Our water has always been included and I have never been asked to pay more. This includes when I have to water the garden and the summer when I refill our pool.

We pay $25 in water, but it’s only the 2 of us at our apartment with it included. We haven’t had to pay “extra” if we go over. But you should ask the complex because different places have different policies

I would assume that you'd have to pay the amount that is over $65. Ask the landlord to be sure.
