Would you call the doctor if your kid has a small cut in his eyebrow? Maybe 1/2 inch long and doesn’t appear to be very deep. He was playing with his toys like normal and fell on one just right it cut his face (NO idea how or which one LOL). We cleaned it, bleeding stopped and put ointment on it. Because I’m dumb I decided to google it to see if there’s anything else I need to do/red flags that it’s worse than it appears and it says to call your kids pediatrician for cuts involving the eye area.

But is the brow bone considered the eye area? It doesn’t go any lower. It’s almost exactly horizontal though his eyebrow. My gut instinct was that we could care for it at home and if it doesn’t look like it’s healing we’d call his doctor like we would with any other injury. My husband agrees that we shouldn’t call unless it gets worse but I guess I just need more reassurance 😂

I need people to take google away from me. I always tell myself not to use it because it just freaks me out but here I am again, freaked out by google 🤣
