Cosleeping?

For two weeks my baby slept in her bassinet without an issue and all of the sudden she doesn’t like it anymore, I’ll put her in it and she’ll sleep but make noises all night that won’t let me sleep because I constantly think it’s her crying but if she sleeps on me she will sleep peaceful as ever. Idk what to do to get her to sleep in her bassinet peacefully 😩 it scares me having her sleeping on me but if not then I get no sleep

My baby is 2 weeks and has always slept on me or dad's chest. I dont see the point in making him fuss under some illusion that its better for him to "learn to sleep alone"  when he's perfectly content with us.

My baby refused to sleep in her bedside sleeper from day one, so we cosleep. I can’t really get comfortable since I’m keeping the covers and pillow away from her, so I would rather her sleep in the bedside sleeper. 
I don’t think there’s any reason to be afraid of sleeping with her. I hope you find a solution!

SAME!!! My LO can sleep in his crib but he is so noisy and seems so uncomfortable (literally screaming in his sleep). For my sanity, we are now Co sleeping. He is so peaceful on my chest and I am able to dose on and off with him. 
He’s only 4 weeks, and my midwife said that any sort of sleep training is useless as this point. We are going to continue to do-sleep until 12 weeks and then we are going to sleep train at 3 months old. 
Do what is best for you and make sure you’re co-sleeping set up is safe!

My little man makes noises in his sleep all the time. He even whines in his sleep. It took some getting used to, and I still wake a lot to check on him when he’s making noises, but he sleeps in his bassinet right beside my bed. Like I have it so close I can just sit up on my elbow and see him. That’s helped me a lot, having him so close. There have been a handful of nights that he’s slept on my chest or with me, but they’re rare. We are currently trying to introduce him to his crib (he’s 7 weeks old), but he is NOT having it... we are working on slowly introducing him to it with smells of mommy and daddy (one of our shirts that we have slept in for him to lay on). I never dreamed of co sleeping. I was morally against it due to SIDs risk. 
Last week I found side breast feeding & we quickly started co sleeping. I definitely rest more
I got really scared after BF and falling a sleep with my LO on my lap two weeks ago.

I’m doing the exact same thing. I’m having trouble getting baby to sleep in the bassinet all night so he ends up sleeping on me😖 he has gotten better though. I play white noise for him and swaddle

My son was the exact same way! I bought a heating pad and I use it to warm up his bassinet before I put him in it and it's made a huge difference. Since I started doing it hes even been sleeping for longer stretches.

This is totally normal for the first few months. Newborns prefer a pair of arms (mom’s especially) to anything else. Just keep trying to put your LO in their designated sleep area. Babies do eventually grow out of that stage. With my first, I remember it took until he was almost 3 months old before he would sleep in his crib and pack n play. I never felt comfortable cosleeping because of the increased risk of SIDS. I just remember living off coffee with shots of espresso in it for the first few months of good. 😂

Every time I lay my baby in the bassinet she sleeps for 5 minutes and then screams. We tired all different methods of trying to get her to sleep on her own but nothing worked. At home I’m sleeping on the couch because I had a c section so it’s more comfortable and when I or my husband sleep holding her We don’t/can’t move so we both actually sleep. When we were at my moms house we slept in the bed with her in a newborn lounger. It says that it’s not for sleep but she is too little to turn her head far enough to suffocate herself and she like me if so that’s what we did. Co sleeping is extremely controversial but you have to do what works for you and yours because you have to get some sleep to be a good mama!
