When I was younger (I’m now 22), my dad was married to an abusive woman. She favored her kids to the point she made an ultimatum for him to choose between her and her kids or us in the end. Did everything she could to make it obvious she hated us in between that and the beginning of the relationship. That’s just the short version.

My brother is 27 and now dating a girl (well call her Makayla) with a child together. They’ve been together for 5 years and she does know some details of what happened. But the other day Makayla started telling me that she sees my dads ex wife around pretty frequently. how she thinks that they really did love each other and probably still have feelings for each other. That if he didn’t have kids, they’d be a perfect match.

But I just think this is weird. The woman, in my opinion, is still crazy. After they split, she moved into the same subdivision as my grandma (literally down the street) and got the same car that my dad had. She also still tries to talk to the family years later.

Is this weird?
