is it okay to drink while on your period?

can someone inform me about this cause ive drank while i was on my period a couple of time and its never really effected me but my friend started having really heavy bleeding when she started to drink but idk. Any advice or explanation?

I Hurd when alcohol is in your system it causes people to bleed more but usually they mean wounds or something but it can be possible with periods I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it but then again I don’t have knowledge on that

Alcohol is supposed to make all menstrual symptoms worse. So does caffeine, including chocolate unfortunately. Sitting in bed with cramps and a hot mug of tea and my favorite chocolate twisty though. Shoutout to all of you ladies in your first day of your cycle. Struggle is real 🤕🛌

Definitely. I almost never drink but when I do it’s usually a glass of wine on my period. It’s a muscle relaxant and has actually helped my cramps more than ibuprofen at times.

Yea its okay. Sure it may effect certain women and they'll get heavier flows but its still okay to drink.
