Stopped my pill about 3 weeks ago. Had my period last week and 11 days later (today) I had cramps and spotting. Been taking ovulation tests and haven't received a positive yet.

Yes spotting does happen when you stop the pill suddenly in the middle of the cycle. You can count this as your period actually, because you won't see the next period until a month after this.. that's what happened in my case..
