Staying on metformin?

Hey Ladies! I just got a BFP. I had started on Metformin 500 mg ER last month. Did your docs/midwives keep you on it? Period supposed to arrive Sunday, but I hope it doesn't!  Baby dust to all of those trying! I'm calling my OB office on Monday if this ends up sticking and not being a chemical. Just curious what everyone else's experience was.

I’m 31 weeks and have been on it the whole time no issue!

My doctor said to stay on it throughout my pregnancy. He believes my earlier miscarriage was called by my androgyn level imbalance that Metformin addresses, so staying on it will help baby stay safe.

I stayed on metformin my entire pregnancy. It was not one of the medications I was advised to stop.

I'm 8w3d today and I'll be on it until 12-14 weeks

I've read a lot of posts about women who stay on Metformin the first trimester to avoid miscarriage. Some women have had miscarriages once they stop in the early stages.. I'm no doctor but I'm still taking them at 6 weeks.. don't want to risk anything

Yes my doctor kept me on my full dose the entire time.

I was told to stop at 13 weeks currently 16 weeks and little man is doing great!
