My son and I stay with my mom and we’re not really getting along. She helps with my son and I really appreciate that but she complains while watching him most of the time. I do everything to help around the house and make her happy but it’s never enough. She constantly asks me for money after I’ve just given her some and it’s frustrating. She gets mad at me for not doing her work assignments on time even when I have to do my own college course assignments. I’m getting fed up and I just want to leave but I don’t have a job due to covid so it’s hard for me to get an apartment. I’m receiving unemployment so I have money. I was thinking about staying in a extended stay hotel ( me and my son, he’s 2) until I get everything together. The suite will have like a kitchen, refrigerator, beds, etc and affordable. Is that a good idea?
