Restrictions are lifting in my area and cases are way down.

We feel comfortable enough to visit my parents and my husbands parents in their back yards, at a distance.

My father in law is a chain smoker. He makes sure to stand really far away from me and down wind so the smoke never blows near me.

I’m still worried and feel a little uncomfortable going because I can kind of still smell the cigarettes.

Can being around him harm the baby? I’m 20 weeks with my first and paranoid about it, but I don’t want to seem rude by not visiting them or asking to leave when he smokes.
