When will this get better

Question

When will I feel human again? I’m up constantly with my almost 4 week old and I keep telling myself that things will get better... but when? Can anyone share their experience?

With my first son, I started to feel more normal around 3 months. That’s when he stopped clusterfeeding constantly. Then at 6 months he started sleeping through the night and I was really myself again. It’ll come! This season of life is so short.

My 1st started sleeping better around 6 weeks. The first few weeks are extremely difficult with trying to get used to taking care of a newborn along with the lack of sleep that goes with it. 
Just know it does get better

By about 3 months, I knew my LO’s schedule almost down to the minute. We were also down to 2-3 wakings during the night at that point. By 6 months, it was one wake up for a quick feed. By about 9-10 months, I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight and could wear all my old clothes comfortably again (including my skinny jeans, dresses, and swimsuits). It took us until 15 months to get consistent sleeping all night (my little guy is a light sleeper and always has been). 
Hang in there, mama. The newborn stage will be over faster than you think. (Just drink lots of coffee until then. 😉)
