Does anyone take labetalol hcl during pregnancy?

I’ve been noticing my blood pressure is slightly elevated. Worried about being put on medication. Anyone on it and it is safe?  I’m nervous about the safety of my baby.

I’ve been on it both pregnancies and the 2 years in between. I’m currently 24 weeks with a healthy baby boy and take 200mg twice a day and my blood pressure is ranging from 110/70s-130/80s. My first born I was on it and she came on her own at 39w3d and weighed 7lb9oz. No health issues whatsoever.

Labetalol is what they use in New Zealand for high blood pressure during pregnancy. I was put on it at about 36 weeks, baby was born 38 weeks, and I continued to take it - while breastfeeding - for another 12 weeks pp. Baby is completely healthy (now 6 months).
