Newborn born end of Dec early Jan, what to buy?

How should I dress her? What should I buy clothes wise? First time mama here!

Lots of long sleeve sleepers. Dresses that you can put a long sleeve onesie under and stockings to keep her legs warm. Things that are appropriate for winter like how’d you dress. This isn’t my first baby but it’s my first girl. Just dress her warm. ￼

Depends where you live! If its in a colder area I would get footie pajamas and trust me the ones that zip are easier than snaps lol. Long sleeve things and little pants. Sweaters for outdoors. Indoors Ive always just dressed my babies in whatever, basically if I'm only in a light t-shirt and yoga pants baby will get a onsie and pants. Ive heard to not over bundle so they don't over heat. If its on the cooler side just cover with a blanket when out, swaddle inside or cover with light receiving blanket.

Depends on the weather where you live. You may want to get one of the car seat covers specifically for winter for when you have to take baby out to keep the wind off and keep them warm. Always the zipper sleepers, we’ll get mostly fleece ones for winter (cotton/breathable ones for summer). Also depends on how warm you keep your house. Our hospital sent us home with 2 fleece swaddles that were perfect for late fall/winter so those are def something I’d suggest.
