Swelling.. normal?

3 days PP and I’m still pretty freaking swollen. It’s very comfortable. I’m talking swelling in hands/feet/legs. Had lots of IV fluids, antibiotics and pitocin & a 25 hr labor.. not sure if that makes a difference. Anyone else swell bad?

I was super swollen. Lasted about 2 weeks. Drink lots of water and get conpression socks if you can. They really helped me be more comfortable.

I just made a post about this as well. I'm currently one week postpartum and really swollen also, I actually think I'm more swollen now than when I delivered. They gave me fluids and pitocin through my IV during the hospital so I'm wondering if that's why or something else. So far I haven't found anything to help relieve it either 😔

I had 2 cesareans and was swollen for a good week and a half to two weeks after both babies. It was from all of the water retention and IV fluids.

I was also super swollen after labor. My feet were especially painful. It took a few weeks for my swelling to completely go away.

I was super swollen too after my hard 36 hour labor, I just walked it off and it went away after a few days!

I was swollen so bad that I had to wear my husband’s shoes to go to my appointments. It got better after about 4-5 weeks.

Swelling.. normal?
