As the end of lockdown nears, im finding myself begining to get anxious. See, for the last 2 months, its just been us. You were only 2 months old when we started to self-isolate. I was still only figuring out my new role as your mama. I guess im still figuring it out. But, I think those first few months of motherhood is when your supposed to learn to let go. To let go of your babies, to let someone else take over, to ask for help, to take time to yourself. I havn't been able to learn that, and a lot of parents havn't. The idea of sharing you both excites and terrifies me. Knowing other people are going to want to hold you, to snuggle you, to feed you, all those precious moments that have been soley mine and your daddy's up till now. I know it's time I learn to let go, but im finding myself holding you a little closer and a little longer these days.
