My baby boy Mason

Here he is yesterday having a blood transfusion.. we went in for regular blood test on Saturday to check his levels as he was slightly jaundice and had bit of low. Mood count when he was born I’m O rhs neg and our antibodies had mixed through the placenta.. we found out we’re weren’t going home we were going to be transferred to a different hospital they told us he had heart murmur and his levels had dropped significantly he’s breathing was nearly double aswell .. fast forward to yesterday he received his blood transfusion 55mls his breathing is still a bit high but calmed right down and hopefully the transfusion should fix his heart murmur.

It has definitely been one of the scariest moments of my life due to covid 19 I haven’t even been able to have my husband with me one parent only he hasn’t even been able to visit his son and we haven’t been able to be there for each other completely.

The hospital staff have been absolutely amazing I can’t thank them enough
