How long did it take to get neg tests and your period after birth???

I am a month pp  and still no period and get faint positive test.. I have been active so I am scared to death...someone please help... I haven't had pp bleeding in weeks..

So with my 1st I stopped bleeding at 4 weeks PP and got my period back at 8 weeks PP and I was exclusively breastfeeding. I’m 3 weeks PP and my bleeding is barely there.
It differs for everyone. But I think it takes about 3-4 weeks for everything to clear your system.

I didn’t know it was a thing to retake a test lol. I’ve been waiting to get my period. I can’t tell because I feel like i have been on and off bleeding this entire time!

I’m not breastfeeding and haven’t got mine yet, and haven’t had sex , don’t trust too much about it! You should be fine.

Are you breastfeeding? If you're not, it's normal for it to take 6-8 weeks or longer for it to come back. If you are, it's likely you won't have a period until babe starts solids or you ween completely. With my first I didn't get my period until 8m pp. I've never tried taking a pregnancy test that soon after birth, it might be worth talking to your doctor.
