Down 35 lbs...😆🥳👍🏼

I’m so excited! I’m down 35 lbs—6 inches off my waist and 5.5 inches off my hips and butt. It’s been slow and steady but I want it to stay off. First pic was August 2019 and the second is from today June 2020– so 10 months. I’ve been doing a lot of walking, eating healthier, getting more sleep, took myself out of an extremely stressful situation and started taking better care of myself overall, physically, mentally, emotionally—just an overall lifestyle change. I was at a really good weight and toned for several years and that’s where I’m determined to get myself to again!!! About 3 years ago I went though something that I never could have possibly imagined. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. After that I didn’t make some of the best choices while I was trying to heal, which in turn took me to one of the lowest points of my life—physically, mentally, emotionally and also spiritually. Obviously I didn’t handle any of this the best and I also gained about 50 pounds in 2 years...soooo not healthy. I knew I needed to change—which just made me feel worse about myself because I was so unhappy with what I looked like and how I felt. It made it harder to make the moves to do something! One day I decided I needed a change. I had to do something! From that day on I’ve been more determined than I’ve ever been. I’m going to get to the girl I used to be!!!! I still have a long way to go, but I’m super excited about the progress I’ve made so far. I’d love to lose 30-40 more pounds and I’m definitely going to start working on toning. I love looking at these pics side by side to see the changes I’ve been able to make—seriously even my hand and fingers have changed. They were so puffy!!!
