My son's dad is running a fever and has body aches but refuses to go to the doctor. We haven't seen him since last week but last night my son started running a fever and today he woke up from his nap in a horrible coughing fit! We have a doctor's appointment in a couple hours but I'm so nervous! Especially considering autoimmune disorders run in my family and there have been those cases of kids ending up with autoimmune issues after having the virus.

Update: the doctor said it appears to be more viral but they tested for covid19 just to be safe! I've been rotating Tylenol and Motrin to help the fever but despite that his fevers have still been sitting around 101. The doctor will get back with us tomorrow or Friday
