Allergic to sun

Question

My sister is allergic to the sun, she’s looking for a sunscreen to help protect her skin. She breaks out in rash/ hives￼￼. 
Any sunscreen recommendations??￼

I like Blue Lizard or Goddess Garden sunscreen. They’re mineral sunscreen and considered a physical sunscreen, rather than chemical. However, if she’s allergic to the sun I’d recommend a long sleeve sun shirt, some spf leggings, and a big hat.

I’d definitely not recommend sunscreen at all. She could wear loose cotton/breathable clothing, hats etc. Also, sunglasses make you more prone to burning because they prevent your eyes from signaling that you’re exposed to UV. My neighbor’s kid is allergic to sunlight and water, and his specialist said no sunscreen because as it absorbs into the skin it also allows UV to enter, just limit time outdoors. Even if it’s cloudy, there’s still a lot of exposure to UV.
