Do you have a baby shower for your second child? I was told just a sprinkle not sure what that is but my first son is 4....

Yup! I have showers for ALL my kids. No matter what anyone says, it’s MY Choice. And I’m Mexican, in my family we throw big baby showers to celebrate every single new family member. Doesn’t matter age gap or gender.

We didn’t. No one came to the one for my first baby, so aside from the COVID stuff, we just didn’t want to have that disappointment again. (We invited 65, most were family members... big families... 23 RSVP’d yes. Including my mom and the 2 hosts, 9 people showed up.) It was really sad and a little embarrassing. I’ve gone to so many other people’s showers and yet no one could be bothered to come to mine. Annnnyeay, no. We did not. I’ve been buying things off of my registry off and on for a few months. Now I only have a few things left to get! 😎

Nope. We don’t do baby showers after the first one in my family/friends   If you have another child it’s expected you either use the stuff from your first or pay for stuff yourself

We had a baby bbq for my second. It was coed but still games and gifts. Guys hung around the grill with drinks and the ladies doing the games and stuff. So i guess yea basically we had a baby shower for our second too lol

I was suppose to have a pass the baby party after my daughter was born, but I told them to cancel due to family craziness.

totally up to it’s a personal choice .. my personal choice was to have one for my first but if i had another i would put no gifts or diapers maybe gift cards since i’m super picky about both and i don’t want unnecessary baby stuff i don’t use .. i just take the money i’d spend on baby shower stuff and buy some baby stuff for myself :) but if you want a shower for all your kids it’s your right and there’s no rules

My mom and sister were going to throw me a diaper party. Due to covid we ended up not doing anything though.

We were going to have a little sprinkle cook out maybe in combination with my husband’s birthday. But since Covid, we’re not. I feel weird having a virtual baby shower for a second kid and we only need diapers and a few duplicates of stuff (night lights, car shades). We’re not going to do anything but will graciously accept any items people want to give us.
