There was a study done and they say the healthiest wait time before getting pregnant again is a year and a half but that being said it is up to you. I got pregnant with my son when my daughter was 2 months old. They are less than a year apart and I love it that they are so close.

My daughter was 18 months when I started trying as I had a c section and read leave it 18 months rather than a year. We fell pregnant when she was 21 months. She’ll just be turning 2.5 when I’m due in November and honestly, although we could have gone sooner I feel it’ll be a good gap as she will be old enough that she can help (put nappies in the bin, etc) but still young enough that she’ll be into similar toys and tv that her younger sibling were. Plus pregnancy with a toddler is tough and tiring! 😂

That’s a question for your doctor. It also depends on how you gave birth last time.
If it was a C-section, it’s recommended to give your body at least a year to heal.
If it was a traumatic vaginal birth with tearing, you also should wait at least a year.
If it was a fairy easy and smooth vaginal birth with no tearing, 6 months minimum.
Of course you’re able to have a baby before 6 months to a year after giving birth, but you’re setting yourself up for complications and issues if you don’t give your body enough time to heal.

I had a csection and was told to wait at least 6 months to get pregnant again. I got pregnant at 7 months so my babes will be 16.5 months apart
