Okay so I’m on Depo. I’m about to go get my shot again this Monday, when my GYNO is open. I started my period May 27th. I am still on my period now. Today is June 21st. I’m not 100% sure if this is Depo related. I haven’t had a period since January? Possibly February. I bled really heavy the first couple days. ( I expected this period to maybe be a week and a half long) then I began spotting heavily. After a while I started bleeding again. I then went to Florida on the 11th of June and completely stopped spotting the 12th. I went the whole day with no tampon or anything. Later in the evening, I showered and when I dried off there was blood (fresh) on my towel. I bled for maybe a day again. Then have been spotting since some days it’s a little some days it’s a lot.

I plan on asking my Gyno about this while I’m there. I read that it’s very normal for periods like this to be long on Depo. I even read an article about a woman who had her period for 74 days on and off.

If y’all have familiar experiences let me know. I’m not willing to change my form of birth control I like Depo because I don’t forget to take it and IUDs make me uncomfortable. Thanks Ladies!
