Call me bitter......

So one of my friends just engaged, they’ve only been together for a few months. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years in July.

I feel a little salty that I’m not in the same place as my friend.

Grant it, we are doing

so money is tight but I don’t need a wedding or a thousand dollar ring. I just want to be his wife. We talk about it and he says it’ll come once money is better. He’s even talked about just going to the court house... but when I agree he retracts his statement and says he wants to do it right.

I get the money situation but I feel like I’m being teased with a court house wedding.

I’ve never wanted a big wedding .... he wants one.

SIDENOTE: I’m not upset with my friend by any means, I’m 100000% happy for them lol. I was just venting in regards to my man not proposing yet or wanting to get eloped
