We are thinking of purchasing a home that we really love. We have a 15 month old daughter and I am currently 8 weeks pregnant.

In this house, both of the kids’ rooms would be downstairs, while the master suite is upstairs. My daughter sleeps in her own room right now, but we share a wall. Baby will be in our room until 4-5 months when we sleep train and transition.

We have a monitor we always use, and will continue to use, obviously.

Does anyone have their kiddos on a different floor than their room? Do you like it? I think it’s only really an issue while they are so young. My daughter isn’t overly proficient with stairs currently.
